Completion of Project 2
So it’s definitely been awhile since my last post. I’ve been stressing about all my projects and grad work lately so I’ve been having to re-prioritize my life and wordpress was kind of at the end of the list. At least I’m honest! Anyways, Project 2 is finally completed!! I am actually really happy with it. I feel the first project was too simple and I wanted to break away from that. I definitely enjoy my scrapbook style and I think my website is fun. It represents me and that was the most important thing about this project. I’ve been through a lot the past couple of months and I needed to really figure out who I am as a person and what I want out of life. I wanted to do this project because I saw it as almost therapy for me to create this website and figure out who I am. I worked really hard on this because it means so much to me and I feel that it really paid off. There is a lot of text but the text says something about who I am and I didn’t want to take out too much. All I care about is that my close friends and family read it. I don’t really care if other people who see the website don’t read it. I think just looking at the scrapbook style and pictures says a lot about me. So overall, I’m really happy with this project and I’ve already gotten the chance to show my family and close friends and they all loved it so that makes me happy!

Project 1 Completed!
So I have completed project 1! I’m pretty happy with it. The pages are pretty simple but it’s my first project so it’s good for getting practice and more familiar with Dreamweaver. There are some things that I would have like to do to make it better like creating a home page but that’s something that could always be changed later on. CSS was a pain to use but I’m going to try to get more familiar with it in the next project. Project 1 is now done, moving on!

Exercise 4
OK so I just got done with Exercise 4 and I did not enjoy using DIV tags! They seem so complicated! It just seems easier to slice and put images into tables. Maybe I need to explore more with using DIV tags but they seem so much complicated then it needs to be! It involves too much math also! Blah! Not happy right now! Project 1 in progress
So I’ve been really stressing over project 1 trying to get designs done for tomorrow. I realized while working in Illustrator for the second page that I am really not a fan of Illustrator. I like Illustrator for simple things but to make a house??? I am not a fan at all!! I am not too happy with the house I created and I don’t like the cartoon look. Page 1 is definitely my favorite page so far and probably because I got to use Photoshop for that. I prefer working with photo imagery and drawing in Photoshop. It’s more my style.

Exercise 1
I have just finished Exercise 1. It was pretty fun being able to create your own web page but we’re still learning basics. I’m looking forward to learning CSS and Dreamweaver. Right now the web page is very blocky so I’m interested in working in photo images and drawings to make the page more interesting. It was fun to create images in photoshop and put those in as backgrounds. It definitely is tedious work but fun.
